In accordance with the strategy of the municipality of Kustavi, the aim is to develop tourism in such a way that demand grows more year-round and brings more jobs and livelihoods to the area.
Tourism employs and brings many positive effects to the Kustavi region. Actors in the sector respect the principles of sustainable development and take into account the environment, natural resources and local people. Here, local food is valued and local food culture is developed. Kustavi has a built water and sewerage network and efficient waste management. Responsibility is valued.
